Cheaters in Daily?

Today’s daily is quite hard due to the second round being a No Move round inside a shop.
I was not able to guess the right country from the visible stuff around me and I doubt that it is easy to get a good pin like the correct city or even a 5k.

However, there seems to be a big chunk of players (38 out of 699 in this image) that get 14000-15000 (and probably got a 5k):

I cannot imagine those 38 at the distribution tail end are all Rainbolt, Blinky, etc.

Yesterday I hit my personal best of 14966 too - and I still had 23 people above me…

What are your thoughts? Are these extremely lucky or do some or most of them cheat?

Anyone here who actually got 14-15k today, if so can you tell me how you determined the country etc?

People do it on multiple accounts so that they can get 15k

I got around 2000 pts bcs I got a “general area vibe” from the looks of the store. Guessed the wrong country, but it wasn’t too far from the actual answer

Bruh, I usually do pretty well, but I only got 12k points this time. And that’s because I randomly guessed India in the second round. It was genuinely impossible. Idk how ppl got that many points.

I got 14.2k (14,199 but I rounded up) this time, there was just a vibe of the general area it was located for me on the no move round.

Refresh = 5k wins

I tested this out to see if it worked (don’t worry I won’t do it again), but yeah it does even on phone.
@codergautam please fix this if possible, it makes it a lil too easy to cheat.

I temp banned some players that got a 5k or got a very good guess on this round, most of them from the top 25 lederboard, realistically theres no clue to go Johor Bahru there, or My, you can get the area, asian vibe (I plonked China :distorted_face: ).

I was one of those who got above you (14970) yesterday, though I didn’t cheat. I got 0 on the second today though.

Honestly, if you got a good score on the other two and guessed SE Asia, you could have gotten a decent score, but people definitely cheated to get above 13500

I went the UK because I think the man’s had a Man United jersey, I know these are common around the world but had literally no other clue :sweat_smile:

It was actually really easy if you think about it, i got 14.2k cos Taiwan and Costa Rica were literally a giveaway

Yeah I got Taiwan at 4995 but fumbled at Costa Rica (did see a bus far too late) - the first round I did guess badly.

But I am not complaining about the expected outliers that fit the distribution, I am talking about the unexpected high count jump in the tail end on the right of the score distribution.

Also have a look at the second screenshot with the first 10 people with 15000 - notice anything?

15000 is definitely impossible due to the time constraints, even for me my highest ever was 14980
