What happened: About an hour ago, distance tapping stopped working on every map.
Expected: Single or double tapping in the distance skipped ahead further.
Steps: 1. Tried various maps/locations 2. Google 3. Attempted play in Chrome browser instead of app. 4. Uninstalled and reinstalled app 5. Had withdrawals. 6. Desperately began this post

Same here, but I’m playing on a laptop, it’s so annoying. It has only started to happen a couple hours ago, though. So Idk what happened. When I try clicking down the road, I can only move one pano at a time.

I think it’s a worldguessr issue, I went to Google maps and double tapping works just as intended. Hopefully it gets fixed soon enough.

happening to me on laptop playing on firefox browser. It seems like a worldguessr bug and not a google maps one. Hope it gets fixed soon

When I click to move around the map, I can’t move forward so much. The problem emerged yesterday. e.g., it’s like I used to click and I would move 20 m further, but I can’t do it now, it seems like 5 m, I guess. I wonder if anyone suffers from this problem and there is a solution

I thought I was the only one. Same in Windows, maybe it’s a problem with the Google Maps frame?

Thanks for the report! This is definitely a super annoying bug we are working hard on a fix or workaround for WorldGuessr.
In the meantime, please upvote (+1 button) the issue PaulPlay made on Google’s Issue Tracker so they can fix the root cause on their end.
