Reporting chats

I think it would be a good idea if we could report toxic stuff in chat. im aint really a fan of archiving chat messages, but i think that if you could report someone the people who are constantly making fun of or insulting others would shut up a lot faster.

ive already had it happen twice where I got called basically every bad thing you can think of. i dont really care that much, but ive heard from people who were actually pretty upset about some insults.

the ***-system aint really foolproof too. “stupid” gets changed to ******, but “stupidd” just stays there → it’s pretty easy to get around if you really wanna say something toxic.

this game should just stay fun

How about you just ignore it and move on with your day, isnt to hard in my opinion.

@Kovalc I wrote this suggestion against people like you. In games, you are the one that can’t stop cursing people and insult people during the game. You start the games with: you are soo ****** bad. I think you should be banned from the game for that, you ruin the games of people.

I personally don’t care but as i said ive heard from people that were upset about accusations against them.

Why defend/encourage toxicity? It only worsens a person’s experience with the game.

“It’s just a joke (half of the time :face_with_bags_under_eyes:) bro why are you upset that I insulted you”

Toxicity is a problem that can’t be ignored and we can’t let it take over our community, which is built around kindness and respect.

Toxicity is like a disease; if ignored, it’ll kill the whole community. I have experienced this before. In a .io game called Realmz.io, there were toxic players. Although they harassed other users, the dev did almost nothing about it because most of the toxic users were his friends or people who paid him money. Those toxic players drove most people out of the game. The game and their Discord are dead now.

There were talks abt saving reported messages, but currently screenshoting the chat helps

Ignoring it will only make it worse, as there is no punishment for being a rude/toxic player. While yes, in a game that’s the best option, such players should still be held accountable for not following online etiquette. I believe this is what @mythas meant when he posted this, as toxicity isn’t to hard to ignore, but will affect the community in one way or another.
