If you’re a regular player, what is the one basic you somehow have not mastered. For me, with almost 900 ELO, the sun. I cannot tell if I am in the southern or northern hemisphere, which is funny but very weird at the same time. What is yours?

I have never practiced France. Ever. (ok actually i practiced it a little but i’m still sh*t at region guessing it

Sun direction is only really hard as soon as the coverage was done midday.
Put yourself in any hemisphere on google maps, look up, and look at the compass (as shown in the plonkit guide).
If the sun is north (red part of compass is north), then you are on the south hemisphere and vise versa.
Equivalently, wherever the white part of the compass points at is the hemisphere - so white part points at north means you are at the northern hemisphere.
For myself, so far, I have not cared about car metas. I have no idea what a specific car color or antenna means in terms of in what country I am - the most I can think of is the dead Ghana tape.

Thanks, that really helps. Also, in Kenya, the Ute used for street view coverage will usually have a snorkel. I will put a screen shot below to help you with that. It won’t be useful often, but it always sticks with me.

I also haven’t studied or practiced France at all
My key to guessing is that it’s central France every single time (Trust it definitely works all the time and for sure hasn’t lost me several duels and a ton of elo)

Another tip from my minimal experience: if you found the D44, D46, D47 and so on in the south of the country and you’re searching for the D45, it will probably be in the north

I don’t know many of the most basic metas, although I know a decent bit of the more niche ones.
