In GeoGuessr, the 5K range is different, in A Community World for example the range is about 185 meters away compared to about 1 kilometer here

It would be better to decrease the range that is needed for a 5k

I would agree, I feel like there are players who are better then me but I can take advantage of the range to get a faster 5k, which I don’t think is fair.
