Also Feel like Australia is another hard county on size and the coverage. This might be a hot take but like I also feel like Japan is also a hard country.

For me the hardest countries have been Russia, Indonesia, Philippines, India, the US, and Australia.
But I am also a beginner - I started geoguessing roughly at the time when I registered this account (70 days ago).

To find out which ones are the hardest countries for myself, I first did go have a look at every game in a certain time period (e.g. 1 month).
Then I looked at those rounds where I had a score of 3000 or less (so a difference of at least 2000 to the perfect 5000 guess) and added increased a count in a spreadsheet for the original country.
So if I guessed South Africa for Australia, I then increased the count for Australia.

In the end, I had a high count for the above mentioned countries which led to me learning more about Australia to improve my ability to identify Australia and even pinpoint specific regions within Australia.
