How does worldguessr decide if a person has cheated?

This kinda got me curious, is there a specific process y’all go through to figure out if a person has cheated? Is it automated, empirical, vibes?

Not expecting specifics tho since that would allow people to find new ways to cheat

There’s a report system to report the games, and then cheat checkers look over games to see if they cheated.

aka people in the top 20 pretty much other than a few exceptions I think

There are 9 top players ocassionally gautam, who have accesss to all games played. We have some tools to detect unsual activity and are given reports. which we discuss and take action on
