like i have never seen sugarcane in south thailand or max north and thailands one of the few countries where car blurr is invisible in gen 3
Niche regional meta, Indian railways boundary bollards often have the sub railway mentioned, these are usually cardinal directions like
CR is central railways
Imma find a example after lunch
Usually found near farmlands
Like this one says NCR
which is North Central Railways
If you are by a railway line in india check the sides of the roads for these bollards.
I mentioned before that trash is valuable and I will probably do a guide at some point - thinking of calling it “Let’s talk trash”.
Anyways, waste containers in many countries often either display the text or logo of a city, municipality, council, or region.
For example, in Turkey they display the name of the municipalities (Belediyesi) on their grey containers which are everywhere:
The above example is for Mamak, Ankara:
Dust bins are useful in
Turkey
Certain cities/ regions in US and Canada
Australia ( Suburbs of cities)
Certain South african cities
idk i might be missing some, I forgot if new zealand has city names on dustbin
also there is something in greek in trash cans in greece and I remember seeing a town name in a portuguese trash can once, but i am not sure if it is wide spread.
It’s just most regions are named from belediyesi or other way round and they can display bigger region when it says buyuksehir
@greafer told me this meta to distinguish north Thailand from the south.
If you see a black insulator on a pole with 6 ridges, then your in the north and if the same pole has 8 ridges then you are in the south. They are not extremely common so you won’t see them on all poles.
That’s fasinating.
Maybe I’m going crazy but I swear I heard somethiong similar in a zi8gzag video
How much time have you spent researching garbage around the world?
Haha quite a lot time tbh - its one of the first things I look for when I am in Australia, Turkey, Greece, or the EU in general.
There is another car in the Cocos Islands apart from the standard 2:
(West Island)
(Bantam)
The above are the two cars discussed in Plonkit:
https://www.plonkit.net/cocos-islands#2
There is another car found on West Island that has a cyclonic snorkel head and has a light blue tray thing on the back with bars on it.
It can only be found in the areas in red: the back line and circles representing where it ends, either because of the normal West Island car or the ferry to Bantam.
Also, between those points, the blue tray is visible, but after that it isn’t because it shifts after a turn in the road. (The car drives south to north; therefore, before means south of the bottom marker, and after means north and east of the top marker.)
Also, before it shifts, the iron bars are to the right of the car:
But after it is moved again, the bars are to the left:
Also, if it is driving west to east, you can just guess on the horizontal road. The bars are useful when playing NMPZ, and you find yourself right before the car turns onto the west-east road.
When you are in a small town in Germany, I always move to the edge of the town where the sign shows the town name and the district. This way, if you know a lot of big cities in Germany, you can easily 5k many locations.
mali is ancient i think
like every single loc is on plonk it almost
Almost
also mali got released in 2018 and afghanistan in 2022 or 2023
They could have added new countries but instead they chose to do coverage of a remote island overseas territory of Australia. That is a weird choice by Google.
