The normal compasses* with the arrows are mid, and tbh, sometimes work awfully.
This is my suggestion:
I’m not the best at drawing.
My idea was that each letter representing a cardinal point can be clicked, and thus, making the player look in that direction at the angle in the y-axis they were looking before, making aligning the roads much easier than just clicking arrows and hoping it lands on north. The design could also be the normal one with the triangles, like this:
Which looks awfully close to the BMW logo. (Don’t get sued, Gautam.)
Different styles of compasses could also be sold at the store.
What do y’all think?

Why not? I think he can just dig into the strrt view code and change the compass, and a few more lines of script to make the cardinal points.

He can’t modify street view code
When he tried to do that to hide road names, he got a warning from Google

Yea i agree it takes getting used to, then only problem I have with it is lining roads up you might be a tiny bit off (hence double N shortcut)
