Ranked ELO is now zero-sum and uses the classic ELO formula! If your rating looks way lower, don’t worry, nothing was taken from you. Everyone was moved to the new scale at the same time, so your rank and league should be very similar to before.
- ELO now measures true skill and converges at an accurate level much quicker
- Your leaderboard position stays roughly the same
- Your old ELO is saved forever with a shiny OG badge
You may see bigger ELO swings for your next few games while the ladder adjusts.
This update also adds Stamps :stamp: a new skill-based currency you can use to unlock custom backgrounds, pins, name glows, and more! You will receive an initial boost of stamps to start exploring.
Note: We are still waiting for mobile app stores to approve this update, so players playing on old versions of the app might see some inconsistent UI. We are working on getting this fixed asap.
Also, this update was a bit rushed so if you find any bugs report them ASAP!
