How do you go about getting the 5k?

I’ve only ever gotten a dozen or so 5k’s in my time but you should be able to quickly identify the country then find signs to places with distances and triangulate. Some countries are really good for using road numbers and intersections (NZ from my experience). Knowing big cities in countries really helps (especially in places like Turkey) Sorry if wasn’t more help im really not sure

This is how I do it: See a city name - scan for that city - find road names and/or numbers - scan for those roads - proceed to line it up using an intersection or angle

South America has some countries that are fairly easy to 5k due to the organised road name system. (Calle, Avenida, Carrerra, ect:). Im not very experienced, but I have found that most urban ecuador rounds are 5k able. I havent learnt many other countries in South America but generally if you know the city in an urban round, you should be able to 5k. (Ofc u need to scan for the intersection properly)
