Im just curious who all have actually memorized all the kapubaten considering theres like 417 of them on streetview. I tried but gave up after 3. I then proceeded to forget those 3. So yeah, lot of progress. (Ill prolly just learn other countries and come back to it when im better but still if you have any tips, feel free to type them in the comments or whetever they are called)

I don’t have all of them memorized. I originally wanted to, but i ended up thinking it was pretty unnecessary based on what people who actually knew them told me. I know the ones in Sumatra, Sulawesi, Nusas, and Maluku. I never really studied Kalimantan because there are only a few, though i know some of them by just playing. I def dont know the Java ones, there are too many, and there are already enough metas to get a decent Java regionguess without them.
And anyways, theyre mainly useful for moving. Back when i learned the ones i know, i wasn’t playing much moving, so they weren’t that useful to me. Now they are, but learning them all is still a pain because you need to constantly do quizzes so you don’t forget them

Kapubaten are small subdivisions in Indonesia. They are basically local government divisions, which are mentioned pretty frequently on signs are useful to know. I think there are a lil above 500 of them but only 417 covered by streetview (if I correctly remember my Plonkit).

The best part about playing worldguessr is that it doesnt make you any better at the city you live in. Like if someone asked me directions to someplace in hyderabad, im cooked
