Soon. Plans for Oct 1 ( I would going on a vacation during september so i wouldnt be able to do stuff. I’ll let you exact criterias. This is going to be a worldguessr pro league (1150-1200elo+ only) side by side we can have the first ever worldguessr beginner league if enough people sign up

WPL (Worldguesst Pro League) 2v2, will follow the 2 group, top4 advance and a robin ( everyone plays everyone in their group once). The WPL will include NMPZ games in group stages.

As for the beginner league, All games will be moving played in the world map.

Each game will have a duration of 1 week to be played. ( times decided by players).

WPL lasted 3Months and had 9 group stage games and 3 knockout rounds. (12weeks). The actual length of the tourament will be determined by the number of participants that sign up.

Rough estimates. 3-4months for WPL 2v2s and 1-2month(s) for WBL

Any suggestions are welcome, The final format will be decided by Sep 29th? (I probably wouldnt be online, from Sep 13th to 28th)

(Minimum would probably be around 16 people in a category aka 8 teams)

Well with league formats there can be any number of teams. Just do roundrobins like 2 times maybe like all football leagues do (ex la liga).

Suggestions:

  • Still use the 3-2-1-0 point system
  • Probably just use the move-move-no move format for WBL
  • Probably one week a game for a time to lineup, if there are 8 teams probably just make it last 14 weeks so everybody play each other twice

(I don’t really understand what you mean by 2 group top 4 advance because i didn’t join the WPL 1v1 :crying_cat: )

I guess it means the top 4 teams from each group go through to a playoff round (I can’t even remember how we did it in season 1 and I invented the league :sob:)

Ok so I checked - season 1 we had 18 players (2 groups of 9) and the top 4 from each group moved on to the playoffs where seed 1 played seed 8, seed 2 played seed 7 and so on…

Then the winners go through to semi final and then a final which @Lukila won.
